Aides in recovery. Aides in living.

There’s more to recovery than treating illness or injury.

Patients who return home from a hospital stay often need assistance in the basic tasks of living: bathing, cooking a healthy meal, household chores, light shopping. Revival Home Health Aides have that rare combination of competence sensitivity that make them a joy to have around the house. Many of our patients call their Revival aides friends.

Our Certified Home Health Aides provide personal care such as bathing or dressing. They shop  and prepare healthy meals that may be prescribed by a dietitian, as well as assist with laundry and household chores. They can also check vital signs and help keep track of the patient’s symptoms.

Home attendants, on the other hand, help only with basic activities of daily living and can not perform the health care functions of home health aides, though many of their services overlap — bathing, dressing, grooming, making patients more comfortable at home, shopping, paying bills, doing laundry, and taking you or your loved one to medical appointments.

Both our home health aides and home attendants are trained in house, and work under the guidance of the home health care nurse. In all cases, we make sure the aides we place in your home are well matched with the needs of the patient, and that they are culturally sensitivity to the home.
